Metagrid diffractively observes networks, systems, and the production of knowledge. Loosely woven hand-recycled paper strips form a net on BuOY’s architecture, the metttafestival’s location. The paper consists of ripped and pulped books, shoji paper, leaflets, newspapers, copy papers, washi, artworks, mixed with water, kozo, copper, and soil. In the metagrid activation workshop, the participants reconceived structures with their bodies, enmeshed their own objectivities on systematization, and shaped new definitions of grids. Site specificity, matter, technique, and time, composed a perspective accumulator.
