I am a visual artist and researcher based in Berlin and Tokyo. My practice takes forms through writing, sculptural installations, and workshops, and is grounded in stellar and geological cosmologies in scientific and local mythologies. I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, researching the multiplicities of astronomy in the Japanese Archipelago.
I studied Sculpture at the Athens School of Fine Arts (BA/Int. MA) and Berlin Weissensee Kunsthochschule, and completed a PhD in Global Arts—Art Studies and Curatorial Practices at Tokyo University of the Arts as a Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholar. In my doctoral research, I explored how the materiality of art workshops can communicate personal opinion and critical theory, engaging posthuman feminist frameworks, primarily Karen Barad’s agential realism and Sara Ahmed’s queer phenomenology.
My writing is autoethnographic and processual, often combining art practice inquiry with sensory transcription, and attending to the im-material relations between agencies and systems of knowledge. Forthcoming publications include articles in Environmental Humanities (Duke University Press, 2026) and metttasphere: Approximations to Transnational Identity Building in Art and Social Media (torch press/Tokyo College, 2025).
My art practice appears in solo, relational, and group contexts, including cosmohaptics at The 5th Floor (Tokyo, 2025), crip futures (/) queer market (Hong Kong, 2025), and the TURN Project at the 15th Havana Biennale (2024). I have been a resident artist at the City of Sakata (2025), voyons voir (Marseille, 2024), and ATOPOS cvc (Athens, 2019–2020). I have facilitated workshops with cultural, educational, and healthcare institutions, including the Immigration Museum Tokyo, Eyes of Light (Athens), and KW Institute for Contemporary Art (Berlin).
