“Metagrid” diffractively observes networks, systems, and the production of knowledge. Loosely woven hand-recycled paper strips form a net on BuOY’s architecture, the metttafestival’s location. The paper consists of ripped and pulped books, shoji paper, leaflets, newspapers, copy papers, washi, artworks, mixed with water, kozo, copper, and soil. In the “metagrid” activation workshop, the participants reconceive structures with their bodies, enmesh their own objectivities on systematization, and shape new definitions of grids. Site specificity, matter, technique, and time, compose a perspective accumulator.
